The shopping’s done and it’s party time! Liebherr refrigerators with the SuperCool function rapidly yet gently chill your drinks, salads and finger foods, preserving their yummy flavours. And we are sure that you’ll have the best party ever!
From time to time we get enquiries from various consumers asking us to explain what special features and functions on Liebherr’s appliances actually mean and what they do.
So, in today’s blog, we will tell you all about the SuperCool function. Imagine you’re having a party, and the preparations are almost complete. You’ve already sorted the decorations and the scene is set, and now it’s time to get down to business and prepare your salads and finger buffet. This is usually done well in advance, saving you time, giving you one less thing to worry about, and also allowing your buffet enough time to chill properly.
This is where the SuperCool function is a real bonus. Depending on the appliance, this automatic feature reduces the refrigerator temperature to +2°C, +3°C or +4°C for either six or twelve hours. At these temperatures the food doesn’t freeze but it is cooled as quickly as possible. Perfect when you’re just about to have a party.
Other benefits of SuperCool:
- Any temperature fluctuations in refrigerator can affect the quality of stored foods, for example when ‘warm’ food is introduced into the fridge. This is not an issue with the automated SuperCool function as the low temperature (+2°C, +3°C or +4°C depending on the appliance) and the speed at which items are cooled prevents such fluctuations.
- Once the automated SuperCool function is activated, the refrigerator will automatically revert back to its normal operating temperature after six or twelve hours, depending on the model. There’s no need to switch the function off again, so there’s nothing for you to worry about!
Cold drinks and a cold buffet add up to make the hottest parties! Liebherr’s automated SuperCool function helps you get your parties off the ground and makes sure they’re super ‘cool’.
